Migraine Medications

Approval of migraine medications, including Emgality and Aimovigis, are subject to Alberta Blue Cross Special Authorization criteria. Patients must request that their specialist (i.e. neurologist) complete the Special Authorization form and submit it directly to Alberta Blue Cross for review and approval.
